Is white better?

My nephew mentioned that he "wished that he was white" to his mother. When the discussion came up in a conversation, one of the responses was that "I feel sorry for the mother". My first question to the response of my nephew's thoughts/feeling(s) would be to analyze and ask him "why he feels this way"? And when I get the answer, analyze the response and work on it together as a family, through child and parents of course, :) A lot of people want to try and explain about the goodness of being black, when in fact, the whole reason why this question is asked, or reason why this feeling arose is due to lack of communion, faith, and success within the black community. We need more collective leaders that motivate and inspire success as a whole, instead of just individually. We need to gain personal confidence back so that we can better understand how to deal with others outside of ourselves. There are so many excuses running at a rapid pace today that we need to work hard at eliminating. I myself, come from mixed circumstances but never allowed myself to follow anyone except for God, myself, and close family and friends. I chose not to let stereotypes/personal opinions dictate and decide the man that I'm ultimately to become. "True Happiness" is what everyone in life wants, or at least a good portion of us, want out of life, but few rarely perform the necessary action(s) in order for this happiness to come true. My nephew is going to be a very successful and make an impact in this lifetime. But in order for that to happen, "We" as a community have to allow his opinion to count, even if we may not like it. There is nothing to feel sorry about because I'm certain that if blacks had more positivity, faith, and success in one another, then we wouldn't be having this conversation. White people tend to stick together and help one another reach and attain success "together" and not just "individually". Not all white people but a great portion do, and a great portion of blacks don't It hurts for this to be this way but if we don't come together and breed more successful, hardworking, and community driven people, then this will definitely go even further with the way "White" is considered as a way of life.

Change is necessary right now!

As a people, change is needed right now, with regards to killing one another. Because if we don't then we will eventually become extinct. That's a long shot but is definitely possible with all of the black on black crime that happens within our community. We are responsible for the change that happens within, not the world. God is too good to us for us to just give up on him/her now. Just stay the course with believing and the universe will definitely give us our just due. Positivity, love, peace, fellowship, are all keys to unlocking the blessings in which the universe spill out. We just have to tap into our true selves and keep the faith. I love you all and hope to be a voice that help to bring sunshine in your lives through the power of our heavenly father and his beautiful son, ;)

Love always,
